1. About the Artist
This website is operated by Mr. Happywood, a visual artist based in Detroit, Michigan, for the purpose of showcasing and selling original paintings and limited works.
By using this site, you confirm that you are doing so in compliance with all applicable laws and these Terms.
2. Intellectual Property Rights
All artworks, images, text, and content on this website are the exclusive intellectual property of Mr. Happywood, unless otherwise stated.
Purchasing an artwork does **not** grant you rights to reproduce, license, or distribute the image for commercial or personal gain.
Any unauthorized use, reproduction, or redistribution of the artwork is strictly prohibited.
3. Original Artwork Sales
All original paintings are unique, one-of-one works unless noted otherwise.
Due to the handmade nature of fine art, small variations, textures, or imperfections are part of the work and contribute to its authenticity.
**All sales are final** unless otherwise stated in writing.
4. Shipping of Large Artwork
Many of Mr. Happywood’s works are large-scale and require specialized packaging and freight shipping.
· Shipping costs are calculated based on size, destination, and handling requirements.
· Delivery timelines may vary due to freight carriers, scheduling, or weather conditions.
· Once artwork leaves the studio, **risk of loss or damage transfers to the buyer**.
Mr. Happywood is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, freight companies, or customs.
5. Shipping Damage or Transit Issues
If your artwork arrives damaged, you must notify us within **48 hours of delivery**.
Please include:
· Photos of the damaged artwork
· Photos of the shipping boxes/crates
· Your order number
We will assist in filing a claim with the shipping carrier, but the carrier is ultimately responsible once the artwork leaves the studio.
6. Commissions & Custom Artwork
Commissioned works require:
· A non-refundable deposit before work begins.
· Final approval before shipping.
Start and completion dates are estimates and may vary due to artistic process, scale, or materials.
Deposits become non-refundable once production has begun.
7. Pricing & Payments
All prices are listed in **U.S. Dollars (USD)**.
We reserve the right to correct pricing errors, refuse, or cancel orders at our discretion, including suspected fraud or system errors.
